Rachio controller install

Project overview

The homeowner had three large yard areas including lawns, hedges, flowers, trees, and a rose front entry path that they wanted controlled automatically by a Rachio smart irrigation controller.

What was done

• Waterproof electrical outlets and conduit were installed to power the Rachio unit
• Rachio was mounted to the exterior wall in a water-safe housing
• Wiring was installed between the Rachio controller and each of the automated sprinkler valves
• The Rachio was installed, connected to the wiring, and configured to work with the homeowner smartphone for remote control and individual zone scheduling

Result

The yard was watered automatically, adjusted for seasonal needs, and supported healthier lawns, hedges, trees, and roses.
